Well 'Fame' the musical is well underway. So far the stage is being set and plans for equipment are almost done. All we realy need to do now is draw the plans for the microphones, and decide whets happening with the lighting, but that’s not my side of the work. My side of work consists of; reading the script, deciding who gets what microphones, decide where they are going on the mixer, and when they need to be turned up and last but probably the largest part of it, call on the night when they are being used during the production.
At the moment I am working through the script working out what characters are doing during the scene and what microphone number. This has made it even harder yet due to only wanting to use four channels on the mixer, and we have fourteen radio microphones being used.
I must say the stage is looking awesome and I can’t wait till its all finished and we get to see what the final set looks like.
From what I have read in the script, it is funny at some spots but seems like a bit boring in others, but I guess we will have to wait in till the show to see how it works, And this time I will get to see the show and follow it properly, because last time I was stuck in a corner and told to keep an ear out for the lines to play the sound effect. This time I will be able to see the play and let others know when to do stuff. They will be at my command *inserts evil laugh here*
in other news, Casey and I are going stronger then ever for those of you who are interested. And for those of you wondering what month it is (I have been asking a few times this week) we are happily heading for out 9 months and don’t look like splitting any time soon.
Anyways I'm off to go and talks to my lovely girl so ill catch up with the rest of you later.

Holidays
Well the mid year holidays are finally here. That means three whole weeks of sitting on my ass with Casey by my side with out Frame looking over my shoulder watching every breath I take and making shore I go to class. Finally I can go through a day with out him and finally I can go a day of relaxing. It doesn’t really help that Casey doesn’t get off till the end of this week but that’s ok, I might go down and have a skate…after I get my blades off Casey.
Speaking of Casey and skating, she finally came over her fear of going down skate ramps on blades and finally went down one. In-fact she has managed to go down a few larger ones. I have been so proud of her and going down the ramps.
In other skating news, I managed to get some new photos of me doing some tricks; they are off the camera and will be on in the album shortly. Feel free to tell me what you think.
Well what else has been going on; I worked at Edrington on Thursday to help out for the concert they held that night. I was only there to install a communications system so the people in the bio-box could talk to the people on the sides of stage but I was so appalled by the shocking job that had been done in setting up mic’s and the way the sound desk was arranged, I decided to hang around for most the day and help them out. It was around this time Dale dropped in to help out with the com’s due to a miner problem with them…turns out I forgot to fully plug in a cable (my bad). I didn’t think you needed a through when you did to send it somewhere else I thought was the end of the link. (Now I know).
Other then faults In what I could see, I have been told that what I cant see (so the wiring of the hall) was also poorly done; such as having 12 XLR cables hanging off the roof you cant even reach unless you have a lifter. The only thing is you can’t get a lifter on stage because they were too stupid to build a ramp for one. The speaker’s were sounding crap because of Dale blowing them up like 4 years ago along with the mixer. Well to make it easier I will label all the faults I found with this great hall (so it was made out to be)
- 12 Cables hanging from an unreachable roof.
- No ramp to get anything heavy on stage, including a lifter.
- Crappy old speakers and mixer.
- Unfinished cubed.
- Cables hanging out of the wall that shouldn’t be showing.
- Lighting bar needs to be lowered to hang and focus.
- Lights impossible to focus on the ground.
- Stage to small to fit every one on or even just a band.
- Also many more.
So now you’re wondering what is good about this hall. Well I have one answer.
The looks; such as the wooden panels on the wall, polished and smooth. Shore it doesn’t help with the acoustics of the room, but hell, they look good. After all, isn’t that what Haileybury is all about, the looks. As long as we look good it’s all ok.
Now onto Friday.
Friday consisted of setting up and helping on the production of the girl’s house music. Don’t bother asking who won because I have no idea, they all sounded crap from my point of view. While the music industry 3&4 class set up I decided to play with the lights before it got to crowded, I managed to make a few chasses and have some fun before Luke came to do some real work. In the end it didn’t turn out as bad as the boy’s house music which was a total disaster. During It I decided to use the spot light for the presenter. All up the highlight was Luke’s lighting work considering he moved nothing to set it up but still managed to make quite a show for what he did do.
Yet again thanks to Dale for coming in to give us a hand with it all. Even though he crashed the desk and some how stoped the lights from working a few hours before the show started.
Any way that is all from me for now.
Have fun to you all on your holiday and hope its something to remember.
Catch ya

EXAMS / THE GAT
Thursday comes and so did the GAT. Now for those of you who don’t know, the GAT is quite possibly the biggest waste of 3 hours of my life. But for some reason the marks are important for determining a VCE score or something like that...I wasn’t really listening at the time.
After leavening an hour early I was worried if I had done enough on it but that was soon settled after seeing one of my mates walk into his locker after finishing an hour early as well. We hung around the canteen for a bit while we waited for some other mates to finish before walking to Hungry Jacks (a tradition me and some others have...along with most the school to do after an event) for some lunch, accompanied with some very odd yet interesting conversation by James and Andrew.
after spending some time at HJ's (Hungry Jacks) we decided it was about time to get home to relax so we went our separate ways and found our own way home...most of us by the same bus.
So that’s my boring day and now I am over sitting in the new gym for exams and cant wait to get back to my usual schedule.

At the moment I’m sitting her in my room getting photos off the Camera from my latest skating adventures...images courtesy of Casey...Thanks babe.
Anyways I think it’s only fair that I fill you in on what’s been happening lately.
Last week I was sick for Monday and Tuesday, and look what happened while I was gone. James had a fit and put new locks on all the sound equipment and all throughout the hall so now we need to go talk to him about using it for events and now we need a licence to do things at the hall desk. I was away for 2 days and the place falls apart.
This brings me to Wednesday, we had house Music, Dance and Drama. This was a problem considering we set the whole thing up that morning along with the lighting by Luke and only just finished it in time. This was also seen during the house Music due to the feedback and crap quality of the sound. Thanks to Krumins for saving us from even worse quality then it was. Also after much discussion with 'The Don' we have decided that we will organise it a few days in advanced.
Now Thursday and Friday had not much change. Friday I had work from 5 to 10 with Casey so it gave us a good chance to catch up and talk.
Saturday was interesting. After catching up with Kennedy at the Soccer and playing one of the dirtiest matches I have ever played, consisting of a small Asian kid threatening to come in with a knife and stab a few of our players, he was later taken out by our keeper Ivan (legally by the way) but this was after I was taken out for most of the match in the midfield. The game ended in 2-4 loss but some harsh words spoken to everyone.
This brings us to Saturday afternoon. After much discussion with mum I decided I was going to dig into my pocket and take Casey out on a surprise date to see pirates of the Caribbean 3 in gold class. And getting her a brand new ring with a hart and a small pink gem in it. From what I saw she loved her day and said it was one of the best dates she has ever been on...leaving me thinking "damn now I have high expectations and how can I top that".
Saturday night there was a 'Red Faces' night at the church; I had to go to support Casey and her Dance group. We only stayed for that and then left strait after heading back to Casey's house for the night.
Bringing us to Sunday. Started off with the usual Church but after we headed up to The Shed skate park up the road for the day where Casey was kind enough to take some nice photos of me skating. After landing on my head I had to call it quits so we went into the back room and started taking random photos of ourselves. At 5 was the usual Dance for Casey and then off to Ignite.
Nothing interesting from then till now so it is at my wonderful weekend that I say goodbye and I shall keep as update as possible.
Catch you all later

Sports Presentations
Been a while since I posted one of these...and sorry for the lateness but I have been busy :S .
Well the usual week lately up until tonight.
Tonight we had sports presentations, the usual dull and boring night made for the parents of Haileybury collage to make it look like all there money is doing something, and I was forced into going due to me getting an award. As usual my parents were like any other and were really happy about this...to the point where I have the feeling my dad was more excited about it then me. This worried me due to me playing the sport and not him.
other then that nothing interesting, I'm well and me and my beloved Casey are as strong together as ever, so we plan on many more blogs together.
Anyways I’m off to bed,
Pease out 'yall

my weekend
Finally the School Play, Inheritance, is over. I must say it wasn’t too bad, I just couldn’t cope for much longer with the, at school at 8.30am and leave at 11.30pm for much longer. The lack of sleep was starting to get to me. Well final show was on Friday, and it went off with out a glitch...from what I know. Back stage is a different story, but from sound and lighting point of view it went off nicely. I left the back bio box at the intermission due to Toby needing to go in to do his part of the show, so me and Casey just sat at the back of the hall in the back bio box and pretty much slept for the rest of it.
After the show I had to rush off with Casey because mum was weighting in the car with dad, who had a bit to drink. so Casey and I couldn’t stay for the bump out, from what I hear it only to like 10 mins to pack it all up (all being the sike at the street lights).
It was an interesting trip due to Dad for ever going "this is a great song" and turning it up, and acting as a DJ, due to Mums dislike.
Not many of you may know that Casey and I have been going out for 6 months last Thursday, but because I had the play and it was a school night we were unable to see each other, so we celebrated on Saturday. I took her out to Lunch and a Movie, Lunch was at a nice restaurant called Malabo up at Karingal shopping centre and then we saw Spiderman 3. It wasn't to bad, I think we both enjoyed it. Casey didn’t seem too bad about the decision to see it.
Sunday was the usual, Church, Dance, and Ignite. But a good day to spend with Casey, XD.
Today was back at school, it was a long day. Had a little problem working on Flash in multimedia and I kind of snapped at the teacher, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Anyways off to finish some homework. Stay tuned for the next entry
Pease out all
